Google’s Secret Sauce is much like the search for UFO’s. You know they exist but you just can’t prove it. And those who can prove it can’t say anything because they would come across as being crazy. Google is much like the secret government with their secret projects. A little misdirection can go a long way.

G-Bombs are cool. (Or should I say were cool) If you get a million links with the same anchor text pointing to the same place, then BOOM! The only problem is it can be countered easily and in the end produces nothing of real value. It’s SEO masturbation.

People like Fishkin, would never utter there secret techniques for fear of becoming obsolete. Plus, most people reading that article aren’t really interested in ranking high in the natural SERPS but more so interested in reading about cracking Google’s secret algorithm.

I’m sure this will sound crazy, but UFO’s may not have anything to do with aliens. On the same token, ranking high in G (or any engine) has nothing or very little to do with cracking G’s algorithm(s). (Get a str8-jacket and the rubber room ready, he’s gone insane!) lol!
